The spacious duplex units offer all the advantages of residential living without the responsibilities of routine home maintenance. More importantly, The Homes are part of a vibrant community with amenities and options to enjoy the companionship of other residents and take advantage of a wide variety of activities and services.
I am capable of independent living but sometimes need assistance with personal care. Can I live at The Homes?
Tatman Village does not offer any assistance in this area. However, there are service agencies in the community you may employ.
What meal services are available?
Residents can select from a daily menu of healthy, home-cooked offerings. You can plan your own diet based on your dietary restrictions.
I like to travel. What if I am away for extended periods of time?
You can enjoy your time away knowing your home is being well-maintained and secure within the Tatman Village campus. Routine housekeeping services will also ensure your home is clean and tidy while you are gone.
I have a pet. May I bring a dog or cat to my new home?
The Homes at Tatman Village are pet friendly. Residents may keep up to two pets (pre-approved).
Can the homes be used for any other purposes?
The occupancy agreements for The Homes at Tatman Village help ensure a high-quality of residential life. Commercial uses of homes and subletting are prohibited.
What do the monthly fees cover?
The monthly maintenance fee covers the costs of services and amenities that free residents from time-consuming tasks of home ownership and ease the burdens of housekeeping. Monthly meal credits allow you to have dinner on your own schedule and reduce time and effort required for preparation of daily meals. (Meal costs may be subject to adjustment for residents who spend 30 days or more away from their homes).
Do I have to turn over my finances to Tatman Village?
Tatman Village. Inc, is not interested in managing your finances. Since The Homes are intended to serve as lifelong residences, the residency agreement that you sign does state that you will not divert your finances to avoid paying ongoing maintenance fees.
What if my situation changes? Do I have any other residency options at Tatman Village?
If your situation changes, you would be given priority access to an independent living apartment as soon as one was available.
